In the future, Iceland may use forest products to produce enough liquid hydrocarbon fuels from biological sources to replace Iceland’s consumption of fossil fuels. Rough estimates indicate that by 2050, Iceland’s forest area will reach 35,000 km². The total output of forest biomass may reach about 10 million cubic meters-1, including 3.1 million cubic meters of round wood, 3.1 million cubic meters of general-purpose biomass, and about 4.2 million cubic meters of wood materials for biofuels. Therefore, investing in a wood pellet processing plant in Iceland has advantages in raw materials.
The 1 ton/hour super quality wood pellet processing plant invested by an Icelandic customer uses a large amount of forestry waste and surrounding waste wood for comprehensive treatment and utilization to produce high-quality wood pellets. The 1-1.5 tons per hour wood pellet production line project was contracted by Richi Machinery. The main machines in the complete production line include shredding equipment (such as vibrating screens), conveying equipment (such as belt conveyors and bucket elevators), Granulation equipment (such as biomass sawdust granulator, regulator and feeder), etc. The workshop scale of this project is 13m * 5m * 6m (L * W * H), the total power is 68KW, and it mainly produces wood pellets of 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
