Congo is covered by a vast tropical rainforest considered second largest worldwide, after the South American Amazon. It contains the greatest extent of biomass in Africa. The increasing of the population and the need of energy for domestic activities have lead to the burning of biomass of plant origin in order to produce charcoal. More than 90% of the Congolese population is using this resource. Given that population pressure has led to a continuous increase in the demand for firewood, the inefficient use of this biomass has led to excessive consumption of this resource.

The raw materials of Congo customers are different. His raw materials are mainly all kinds of wood, waste wood, sawdust, wood chips, and furniture waste. The waste wood is made into biomass pellets through the wood pellet production line for combustion, cooking, power generation or export, which are all profitable channels.
